The Power of Meditation - Understand

Meditation is one of those skills and abilities that is highly prized and desired!

It is known to be the beginning and the end of all things Metaphysical, Supernatural and Spiritual.

A skill that has many benefits and should be known by all.

Most all religions practice meditation in one way or another.  Eastern philosophies such as Yoga, Buddhism, and more are not the only ones to view meditation as a way of looking for the truth found in life and in ones own consciousness.

Even Christianity meditation finds a place of value.

The Bible itself mentions the value of meditation; in the writings of Philippians, the Apostle Paul tells the people this…

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

Trance and/or meditative states alter the way our minds deal with the realities it accepts as normal.  Things which are experienced in a trance/meditative state are often not easily expressed!  You will at some level experience a heightened state of awareness.  Colors, smells, and sounds may seem amplified from what they normally are.

It is those who can achieve very deep states of meditation that often leave their bodies in Astral Projection, or have psychic experiences!

The Benefits of Mediation are certainly very great!  Not only this but Meditation is scientifically proved to work!

While Meditation is usually recognized as a spiritual art, it also has many many health related benefits!

Not only can Meditation be used to learn new spiritual abilities, but from the health aspect Meditation can…

  • Lower oxygen consumption
  • decrease respiratory rate
  • increase blood flow through the body while decreasing the heart rate
  • deeper levels of relaxation and lower stress levels
  • reduces anxiety
  • muscle tension and headaches
  • it can even assist in mood and behavior, insomnia, and more
  • can boost your immune system
  • help with a normal pregnancy

And my friends, this is just the beginning!

I suggest for everyone to look for a good book on meditation or do a search from some good meditational techniques.
This is a skill that you will never be sorry for learning!
